Reasigned to pulseaudio. Had a very similar (if not identical) problem on my Fedora 9 install. Found that I couldnt play a music CD or, this time an .ogg (ok the fedora configuration of pulseaudio is totally non functional (for me atleast)). Removed all traces of pulseaudio using fedora "add/remove software" (which was tedious). Et Voila: Sound now works. But not in Flash So... Next following some advice I used yum to install: alsa-oss-libs alsa-oss-devel
Pulse Audio needs fixing. Like a few others (on various forums), I would prefer Pulse Audio to be an optional install. ** Changed in: pulseaudio (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: sound-juicer => pulseaudio -- can't play cd with ubuntu studio (hardy heron) 64bit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/247346 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
