I have two machines to test. 1.) Old FujitsuSiemens Lifebook E Series - Intel Pentium III-M 1 GHz - 512 MB RAM - Intel 830 Mobile Chipset - ATI Radeon Mobility M6
This machine works with -19-generic, but not with -20-generic (neither the original 20.37 from hardy-proposed, nor the 20.37smb4 as posted above). The machine hangs like the others at "Checking 'hlt' instruction... OK." 2.) New FujitsuSiemens Lifebook S Series - Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz (T7250) - 2 GB RAM - Intel Mobile 965 Express Chipset - Intel GMX X3100 (chipset integrated) That machine works with -19-generic and with -20-generic (from hardy- proposed). If there is anything I could test on these machines please let me know. Kind regards, Bernhard. -- Hardy proposed 2.6.24-20-generic kernel update will not boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251344 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
