Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Rythymbox was working just fine for me last weekend. Now when I go in and try to play anything, the play button will depress, but the timeline never moves (it won't play). I can drag the timeline control to move forward into the song, it will just no longer advance on its own (and no sound). Now that I'm writing this out, looks like I have sound issues with the system (no sound coming out). This was working, thinking maybe it was the install of the ATI video driver (only thing I've changed), uninstalling that (but now I have to reboot). Will update status of ticket if that resolves it.
