I have similar problems. I haven't keytouch installed. I try with Ubuntu 8.04; 8.04.1 and Linux Mint Elyssa: all of them seems have the same related Segfault Gdm Bug. My PC is an laptop Acer Aspire 1350, Athlon-XP-M 2200 +, 1Gb Ram, 20Gb Hdd. Currently, I am using XDM manager; but without menu logout facilities. Excuse me my bad english.
