The package openoffice.org-hyphenation-en-gb does not exist in the Ubuntu archive for currently supported releases (6.06, 7.04, 7.10, 8.04).
Probably this package is a leftover from an old Ubuntu 4.10 (Warty) or 5.04 (Hoary) installation that has been dist-upgraded each time? What is the output of the following command on a terminal: $ apt-cache policy openoffice.org-hyphenation-en-gb The package openoffice.org-hyphenation-en-gb has been removed since Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy). Therefore if you start from Ubuntu 5.10 or later and dist-upgrade each time you will never have the above issue. ** Changed in: openoffice.org-hyphenation (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Pascal De Vuyst (pascal-devuyst) Status: New => Incomplete -- package openoffice.org-hyphenation None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/openoffice.org-hyphenation.list] failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/myspell/dicts/hyph_en_GB.dic', which is also in package openoffice.org-hyphenation-en-gb https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/221385 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
