Now I have gvfs-mount available: fails the first time, saying that the Mountpoint is already registered (that's the one on the desktop, set up through Nautilus).
Unmounting that (Right-click, Unmount) allows me to re-mount it using gvfs-mount. The desktop icon reappears. BUT trying to open it gives the identical dbus error message.
