Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: vlc

When VLC starts up the volume control is at abut 50% which is normal. If
I try to click the volume bar and drag the volume grows but it never
reaches the end of the bar although the mouse goes to that point or
event passes it. There is about a 2 pixel space left that won't fill up.
If the mouse clicks about one pixel right of the volume bar, then the
volume goes to 100%. 100% of volume can also be achieved by clicking and
dragging on the volume bar, passing the end of the volume bar and then
gently coming back toward the end of the volume bar, when the mouse
pointer is about 1 pixel away from the volume bar, the volume will grow
to 100%.

** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
