Hi bob, that's fine. no worry. You can refer to http://www.ubuntu.com/community/reportproblem and https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs for guidelines on how to report bugs in Ubuntu.
There is a tool named "apport" to automate the collect of informations and reporting to launchpad. For example, if you want to report a bug against Firefox, just open firefox, and you can access apport from the Help menu via Help -> Report a problem . Regarding updates, an icon appears in the notification area of your desktop when new updates are available. Just click on it to access to the software update tool. This can be configured via System -> Administration -> Software source in tab "Updates" Finally, you can request support the Ubuntu forums, the #ubuntu channel on the Freenode IRC server, or the ubuntu-users mailing list. I hope this helps and that you will enjoy using Ubuntu. -- no video playback in firefox https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/224183 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
