Public bug reported:
When I play anything through rhythmbox or exaile, I get no sound from pidgin.
That's a problem because I miss peoples' incoming communications.
I'm not positive this is an alsa bug; ubuntu's sound configuration is
mystifyingly complex. It might be misconfiguration or it might be a pidgin
bug. I don't know how to tell the difference, though.
