Thank you for your bug report. To maintain a respectful atmosphere, please follow the code of conduct - http://www.ubuntu.com/community/conduct/ . Bug reports are handled by humans, the majority of whom are volunteers, so please bear this in mind.
I noted that the files you mentioned a year ago don't exist in the development version of Ubuntu, which seemed to be the core of your report. You are the sole reporter of this bug, and you are experiencing the issue, not me. I do not have a laptop, and I'm not about to go testing every open bug, even if that were possible. It's not helpful to say the situation "might" be worse as that is just speculation on your part. I have said ntp works for me. The way we find out whether it is still an issue is for you to test if it still applies to the latest version. That way, we can either marked it as fixed, or proceed with triaging the issue and work towards a fix. -- ntp daemon not reconfigured by /etc/network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120199 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
