Hi,

I incidentally found a way to reproduce the bug: as mentioned I changed
the keyboard shortcut for "minimize window" to Alt+Z which only worked
until the next reboot. I made my changes using the Gnome shortcut
settings and I am using compiz. I found out, that after a reboot the
shortcut "minimize window" was mapped to the shortcut Alt+Y which makes
some sense since Z and Y are changed on a German keyboard. After
changing the shortcut for "minimize window" to Alt+Y I can now access
this shortcut with Alt+Z every time, even after some reboots. So I found
workaround for my problem and I assume that compiz is using a different
keyboard layout than Gnome which causes the behavior.
