Hello Alberto, Thanks for your reply. I am reluctant to use envy as this breaks the ubuntu update system, and I have heard of people who have had the xserver broken irretrievably after installing envy. Besides I really think ubuntu need to fix this without relying on 3rd party helper applications. What is DKMS ?
