edit: i managed to get pm-sleep working by doing the following (tip from launchpad): $ sudo su $ echo "SUSPEND_MODULES=\"uvcvideo\"" >/etc/pm/config.d/unload_modules $ chmod +x /etc/pm/config.d/unload_modules
