Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description
didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How
to report bugs effectively"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at
http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

At a minimum, we need to know:
1. The version of Ubuntu that you are using (from a terminal, type 'lsb_release
-rd')
2. Whether or not you are using Desktop Effects. To find out, go to System ->
Preferences -> Appearance and click on the 'Visual Effects' tab. Which option
is selected?
3. If you're using desktop effects, whether or not the 'Application Switcher'
plugin is enabled. Please post the output of 'gconftool-2 --get
/apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins'

In addition, could you please attach your ~/.xsession-errors file as an
uncompressed text file.
Thanks!
