Thank you for taking the to report this. What you see in xorg.conf is
how the newer version of X functions - it relies more on autodetection
than static information stored in xorg.conf. Reconfiguring X will not
ask about your video and monitor preferences and drivers.
Is something actually wrong with the display setup and not working as
you expected? If so, please explain and attach a screenshot for us.
