Hello, I can confirm that both on My 2 Asus laptops the wifi (I do not use it a lot ...) does not work anymore I have a S5NP16E-C (S5000 family) with a 32Bit Kernel and an Intel PRO/Xireless 2200BG card and an A6KM-Q006H (A6000 family) whith a 64bit kernel and the same WIFI card
