In my humble opinion this is a perfectly fine behavior. Like considering the
wire is a fiber, which isn't exactly cheap I would want ever single piece of it
used in order to be cost efficient ;-)
I am closing this bug as won't fix, as we - Kubuntu - are really not going to
change the behavior in such an enormous way. If you really want this to be
changed, please create a bug on http://bugs.kde.org to get it changed in KDE
itself, rather than Kubuntu.
Thank you for helping us improve Kubuntu though :-)
