Hi Colin,

sorry, but I do not know how to do that. Now it even "muted" my keyboard
- it does not write anything, when I try to change the layout (to
anything) during installation.

But I do know the SATA chipset of my computer. It is Uli M1573. The main
chipset is ATI RS480 (+Xpress 200). Fedora 6 can see the HDs and I have
used SuSE 10.1 64-bit version for a couple of months in this computer.
Now I'm using Windows XP, but would like to use 64-bit Linux.

I have Ubuntu 32-bit 6.10 in my other computer. It works fine except it
has enormous difficulties to see the files on this Windows computer
(when trying to browse SMB://ip-address/share-name). Especially I love
the program updater in Ubuntu - the difference to SuSE's Yast is like
night and day. I changed the motherboard from ATI RS480 based to Nvidia
Nforce 430 (+Gforce 6150) based just to be able to install Ubuntu on it
(32-bit Ubuntu 6.06 or 6.10 didn't install on either of my computers before
that).

Regards
ari
