Public bug reported:

"~$ uname -a; Linux MD97600 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Jun 18 14:43:41 UTC
2008 i686 GNU/Linux"
ubuntu-data-server 2.22.2-0ubuntu2
In Contacts I opended a contact card: Contact Editor > Personal Information >
(Miscellaneous) > Birthday I entered "30.07.1939" and pressed OK.
I clicked on Calendar > Contacts (> Contacts) > Birthdays & Anniversaries and
in the little calendar in the lower left above the switcher I click on 30 July
2008. The main pane showed the birthday for 30 July 2008.
After I either reboot (or close Evolution and kill the evolution-data-server
process and restart Evolution) this same Evolution calendar does not show the
birthday any more. In the tiny calendar at the lower left, the date 30th of
July is no longer printed in bold.
I repeated this test with two other birthdays with the same negative result.

** Affects: evolution-data-server (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
