I can confirm this on Hardy. I agree that this needs serious attention and the priority should be moved up. This bug means that I, as a tablet user, must forego Xgl entirely; without access to extended input devices, I cannot use xsetwacom, meaning I cannot rotate the screen without screwing up the stylus orientation, and as mentioned, I cannot use the pressure- sensitivity functions. Ugh.
