Could be the suggested line wrap width. Usually beetwen 60-80 characters from the beginning of the line. Developers use that to know when they should wrap the code to a new line in order to keep their code readable and adherent to the code formatting convention they choose.
Try to check if there's something about that in the preferences. You could be able to disable it or modify the place where it appears. Also increasing/decreasing the font size used by the editor should influence that line position.
