Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 8.04.1, gwget 0.99-2ubuntu1 file download progress halts just under one minute (but not exactlty at 00:00:59, rather :56, :58 in most cases). None of the stats (elapsed, est. time etc.) gets updated. After a while, progress "jumps" by one percent and downloaded file grows a few MB. Stopping and resuming the download results in the same behavior described above.
It seems like the download continues aftewards somehow, but this just confuses user who wants to see some continuous progress. What's more important, it takes much longer to download the file this way. Classic wget behaves normally and fetches everything in time, so it has obviously nothing to do with connectivity. ** Affects: gwget2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gwget download progress halts just under one minute, then continues strange way https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/245423 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
