Anybody know when this will be fixed; get gnome-session working ? I am trying to X window into a Ubuntu server (8.04) from an iMac running Leopard and saw my PC desktop menus come up for a split second until my desktop wallpaper started. Then the terminal becomes unusable. All I can do is quit X Windows. Any ideas ? I am a newbie to Linux, but brute forcing most of what I want to happen.
