hi ayan no solution available so far, sorry. we're still trying to get to the bottom of this ... if you like to help though there's still the open question whether it affects all gtk+ applications ...
alexander: i'm looking into that. what I can tell you is that it affects firestarter, evince and firefox, which would point to gtk-applications but not others.
