Hello.
I'm use Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex on Sun xVM VirtualBox 1.6.2 (host
system is Ubuntu Hardy Heron 64bit).
I download all available updates, with enabled repositories: intrepid-
proposed (only one update), intrepid-backports (0 updates), intrepid-
updates (about 28 updates)
Problem with gnome-screesaver-preferences:
When i open System/Preferences/Screensaver and choose "Cosmos" screensaver,
Ubuntu after 2 seconds logout me from system.
Ubuntu save this screensaver to default, and logout. When i login, and try once
more to open "Screensavers", then Ubuntu logout me again. This is neverending
loop.
I'm happy, because i can fast click another screensaver before system logout. I
have only 1-2 sec. to do this. So, i can wrote this report from working
Intrepid:)
Severity: All times, when i click "Cosmos" - system is logout.
I run this package from terminal:
gnome-screensaver-preferences >textfile.txt
** (gnome-screensaver-preferences:6474): DEBUG: Found best visual for
GL: 0x23
I haven't graphics driver installed, without 3D mode, only driver provided with
Ubuntu to display.
I attached xorg file. I remind you - this Intrepid is working as virtual
machine.
