Hello. I have the same problem using openoffice.org 1:2.4.1-1ubuntu1 from Fri Jun 13 14:46:42 UTC 2008 on AMD64. The main user cannot start OpenOffice anymore using conventional means like double click on a document or using the menu. However running only the core '/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice' without loading any specific module (writer, calc...) works nicely for me. I can create or open a new document and the appropriate module will be run with no problems at all. Also giving it a file as (the only) argument will load and display it just fine. -- OpenOffice 2.4 in Hardy AMD64, Locking assertion failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236676 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
