Public bug reported: Description: Ubuntu 7.10 Release: 7.10 Version: dk-filter_0.6.0.dfsg-1
After a reboot, the dk-filter daemon will not start due to the directory for its socket and PID file not existing. The directory is referred to as $RUNDIR in the initscript, and is /var/run/dk-filter by default. It exists immediately after installation, but disappears after each reboot. The package's initscript should create this directory if it does not exist. If dk-filter doesn't start, sendmail will not sign outgoing mail or verify incoming mail using DomainKeys. ** Affects: dk-milter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- /var/run/dk-filter directory is missing after reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/243106 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
