This is indeed a bug causing a conflict when upgrading.
As a workaround you can remove all italc packages then reinstall the new ones.
A conflict should be added to iTalc in Hardy so it conflicts with the ones from
Gutsy and force the reinstall, that'd need a SRU.

** Changed in: italc (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Confirmed

** Summary changed:

- package italc-client 1:1.0.7-0ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: tentata
sovrascrittura di `/usr/share/pixmaps/italc.xpm', che si trova anche nel
pacchetto italc-master
+ Conflict between italc-client and italc-master when upgrading from Gutsy

** Description changed:

  Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Herom
  I was upgrading version from 7.10 to 8.04 and at the first reboot I found
several packages to update.
  Italc was one of them.

+
+ Basically italc-client provides /usr/share/pixmaps/italc.xpm in Hardy
+ instead of italc-master in Gutsy causing dpkg to fail.
