Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdm
I use kdm as my login manager, my system is Ubuntu 8.05 with Xfce installed. gnome and kde packages are minimal. I'm trying to run my X server without the -nolisten tcp options. Whatever I do in /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc AND /var/run/kdm/kdmrc (???), it ends up firing the X with -nolisten tcp. Isn't it possible to start X without this option? I need network access to my X server... Thanks, Fast ** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't get rid of nolisten tcp in kdmrc https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/242502 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
