Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I've installed Hardy shortly after the release. Everything worked fine
until some updates at the end of May/beginning of July.

>From time to time (~half an hour) cursor changes position (it's sudden
change: ~200px from where it was before). Once in an hour or two,
computer stops responding to mouse clicks. Cursor moves smoothly, but
pressing left/middle/right mouse button has no effect, the same for
scroll wheel. When I take a break and return after a minute or two,
everything works fine.

I tried to disable compiz and nvidia proprietary drivers, but it doesn't
help. Perhaps it's a X's issue (it's 1:7.3+10ubuntu10.1)?

I've got hardy-proposed and hardy-backports enabled. The mouse is
Logitech MX610 (it's wireless, but nothing disrupts the communication -
under Vista it works perfect).

** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
