(I have only tested this in 64bit) Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 firefox: Installed: 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 Candidate: 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 Version table: *** 3.0+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.1 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages Steps to recreate: Start firefox Open a tab and go to http://www.gmail.com Log in Close the tab (ctrl+w or by clicking the tab close 'cross') Result: segfault. Attached is an attempted backtrace, but I notice that there seems to be missing symbols.
