OK, this is definitely in the source package xorg-server (I added this to this bug) and specifically in xserver-xorg-core. The changelog shows:
xorg-server (2:1.4.1~git20080131-1ubuntu7) hardy; urgency=low * 159_xkb_default_to_null.diff: When copying the keymap, make sure the structs default to 0/NULL. (LP: #184651) < snipped others > -- Timo Aaltonen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Wed, 09 Apr 2008 11:06:04 +0300 I rebuilt it without this patch and am running it now and xkbset is working ok. So, something about the bug fix to #184651 is the problem here. ** Also affects: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- When setting mousekeys, xkbset reports "XKB not supported" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215496 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
