Public bug reported: In the default Ubuntu 8.04 desktop environment (Gnome 2.22?), files created on the desktop by the screenshot feature don't observe the desktop's icon alignment rule.
To reproduce: 1. Right click on desktop and enable "Keep Aligned" 2. Hit the Print Screen button on the keyboard 3. Click Save to accept the defaults Observe new file icon on the desktop. It is not aligned with other icons. If you drag it slightly, it'll snap to the grid. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- New screenshot files don't observe icon alignment https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239600 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
