@ffm: Have you added "apt-setup/proposed=true" without quotes to your kernel append line, or "d-i apt-setup/proposed boolean true" without quotes to your preseed script? Are you using a local mirror or a known-good upstream mirror with 2.6.24-19 already synced into -proposed?
