Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I have an APC ES series (be550r model) UPS.

I plugged it in and it just worked with Hardy (good work by the way...
very nice and impressive).

However, going to system->preferences->power management and then going
to the "on UPS power" tab I put a checkmark in "enable UPS discharge
alarm" and set the display to go to sleep after 1 minute.

When I close out of the preferences and open them again, they were not
saved (unchecks the "enable UPS discharge alarm" and sets the display to
sleep after 23 minutes).

my screensaver preferences is set so it regards the computer as idle
after 1 minute.

Any other information I can provide... just let me know.
