3) I expected the printer to print
4) The printer seems to be recognized, but then nothing happen when
printing (it doesn't print, without any error, the jobs just disappear
like they were printed).
Please note that this does not seem a bug in the driver itself, since
installing it from the tarball works.

http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/ both places in which they claim that the ubuntu
package is broken, without explaining anything else.
