Those windows closing mean that firefox get crashed by adobes flash
player. Uninstall flashplugin-nonfree package and install
mozilla-plugin-gnash or swfdec-mozilla, which should be more stable -
though not all sites work. Otherwise hope for adobe to bring out a
more stable version soon.
