Found following behaviour with two heron (8.04) systems:
System a runs vino-server.
System b establishes desktop sharing session.
As long as the session lasts, clipboard is misfunctional on both systems.
This means e.g:
- Copy/paste of files in nautilus does not work. Copy operations using mouse
drag/drop work well.
- Glipper shows no hostory
- Copy/paste of text in any texteditor does not work correct. Sometimes paste
works correct, sometimes it inserts something copied long ago, sometimes
nothing is inserted.
As soon as the vnc connection is closed, both systems behave as
expected.
