In first place, I have not yet achieve avoid the conflict with these instructions. In second place, Ubuntu is an operating system oriented to end-users in which do something should be user-friendly, I think these instructions are absolutely not user-friendly, and you cannot hope for a normal user to do them. In conclusion, I think the conflict should be avoid by default in an Ubuntu Desktop installation, or give users a user-friendly way to do it. Thanks you for reading.
