Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
Laptop: Dell D620 Wireless: Broadcom 4311 using the driver bcm43xx Results: The system stops responding and I am unable to get it working. Keyboard, mouse are unresponsive. Steps: Start KDE. Start network-manager applet (either the kdenetworkmanager or nm-applet) Try to connect to wireless network. Watch system crash ;) Oddly enough, the nm-applet works fine in Gnome and I am able to connect without any problems.
