This bug has not been fixed yet in Hardy (with Nautilus 2.21.90). The way I reproduced the bug:
1) Start up the Hardy Alpha 4 Live CD 2) Install mplayer (a program that allows multiple instances) 3) Set Nautilus to List View 4) Open the Examples folder on the desktop 5) Set "mplayer" as the default player for ogg files (Right click "Experience ubuntu.ogg" -> Open with Other Application -> Use a custom command -> Type in "mplayer" -> Open) 6) Close mplayer 7) Double click "Experience ubuntu.ogg" (it opens automatically with mplayer this time) 8) Repeat steps 6 and 7, after a couple of times you will get 2 instances of mplayer after double clicking only once See also: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448562 -- nautilus open files twice https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/120746 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
