Public bug reported: Binary package hint: lame
I am using lame 3.97 on Hardy. I was converting some OGG/VORBIS versions of some recent episodes of lugradio (e.g. http://uk.lugradio.atchoo.org/season5/ep19/lugradio-s05e19-020608-high.ogg) using the ogg2mp3 python script (http://emptybits.com/ogg2mp3/). It completes but the resulting mp3 file is mostly unplayable. ogg2mp3 hides the lame output so I converted the VORBIS manually to a WAV and then ran lame on it and got the error "<> ResvSizeInternal buffer inconsistency. flushbits <>" endlessly. I compiled the latest version (3.98b8) and the bug no longer occurs. ** Affects: lame (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- lame encoder gives error repeatedly, resulting mp3 unplayable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236951 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
