I am using a Lenovo T60, and I thought it wasn't working either. I finally discovered after looking at the logs that it does work, but that the wireless LED does not work. However, I have a problem with the network manager. I am using WPA2, and after I select WPA2 and put the passphrase in, it works. However, when I go back into the network manager it has reverted to WPA. And after rebooting, I have to go back into network manager, select WPA2 AND put the passphrase in again to get it to connect. Also, I am unable to enter anything into the nm-editor.
