Still there with rc1 and latest language packs. It's not (I think) related to usage or non-usage of scandinavian letters, but just the fact that with language pack enabled anything typed in the location bar is simply tried to be opened as www.[typedtext].com, instead of doing google search like when the language pack is disabled.
** Summary changed: - firefox (fi) language pack scandinavian letters problem + firefox (fi) language pack disables google search from location bar ** Description changed: Binary package hint: firefox + + Updated description: it seems that enabling firefox translation pack + (not xulrunner, but firefox) somehow disables google search from + location bar, instead simply trying to load www.[typedtext].com. If + firefox translation is disabled from the extensions, it does google + search. + + Original description: If I write something with scandinavian letters to the location bar, "jyväskylä" for example, firefox doesn't find anything. www.jyv%c3%a4skyl%c3%a4.com) This worked ok before Finnish translations in firefox. Also, if set Firefox (fi) to "disabled" in tools- add-ons -languages I can write "jyväskylä" to location bar and firefox works same way as if I had written it to the google box.
