This wont get fixed in Firefox-2 as only security, and very ergent bugs will be
fixed.
Most likely your issue was due to a corrupt profile. To test please see
instructions at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs
If in Firefox-3.0 you see this issue please make sure you try witha new
profile before reporting and if you have to report it or want to report it
please use Help > Report a problem from Firefox menus
