I upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy yesterday and am experiencing the same problem.
This is a major problem as I now cannot access any NFS shares from my server. I have a laptop still running Gutsy which has no problem. Am running nfs-common version 1:1.1.2-2ubunt. Is this problem likely to be fixed soon through the update system?
