This bug was fixed in the package parted - 1.7.1-5.1ubuntu10 --------------- parted (1.7.1-5.1ubuntu10) intrepid; urgency=low
* fat-partition-table.dpatch: Instead of checking for FAT file system signatures (which has false positives), check whether the boot indicator on each partition is 0 or 0x80 (LP: #232175). This matches the behaviour of both the Linux kernel and fdisk. -- Colin Watson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Thu, 29 May 2008 12:09:09 +0100 ** Changed in: parted (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Fix Released -- parted gets partitions wrong https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/232175 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
