Yep, I can confirm the same behaviour. Using NVidia drivers via EnvyNG 169.12 and Ubuntu 8.04LTS. (+Compiz)
Only happens AFTER I've opened a video in Totem, then all video playback regardless of the player (VLC/TotemMPlayer) has a blue/green hue. I normally end up re-booting to get the normal color tones back. Basically my work-around is to avoid using Totem for video playback and use only VLC.
