@users not wanting to use the command line: I agree, but exactly the missing features in the world applet drove me to use the command line ;-) before that I did not even know that tzdata existed ;-) Anyways I guess the whole thing could have been mitigated if the world- clock applet supported the Etc/... part of tzdata.
