Pihhan: I tried your suggestion, but the output of running acpi_listen
and pushing the Fn+F5 and such produced no output at all. I read the
"duplicate" bug that you marked, but I believe that this may actually be
an issue with the sony-laptop module as I am able to change my
brightness, but I am unable to see any events being fired by the
keypresses. I am able to use "smartdimmer" to change my brightness
manually. I will read through the other bug to see if anything there
applies to my problem, but at first glance, this seems like a different
issue.
